Brad began his land surveying career in 2001 as a field technician in Lufkin, Texas. This is where he first learned the basic concepts of surveying while traversing property boundaries and assisting with boundary line surveys throughout Deep East Texas. During that time, he pursued and received an Associate’s degree in computer-aided drafting and design technology from Angelina College. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Spatial Science (GIS) with an emphasis in Land Surveying from Stephen F. Austin State University, followed by earning a Master of Science in Data Analytics from Texas A&M University Mays Business School. He possesses a certification with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for a Part 107 Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Remote Pilot license. He is a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) and is affiliated with Chapter 8 for Central East Texas.
Prior to becoming a Registered Professional Land Surveyor, Brad held various roles during his career including field technician, CAD Designer, and GIS Analyst. He has experienced a diverse career enabling him to gain experience in multiple industries including construction, real estate, forestry, oil and gas, renewable energy, transportation, water and wastewater, and utilities.
